Ages:
Infants (6 weeks-15 months)
Our infant classroom is designed to create a loving, nurturing environment. Teachers understand that each infant is unique, having his or her own schedule. This classroom is geared toward encouraging infants to develop at their own pace and learn about the world around them. We encourage continuous communication between teacher and family.
Toddlers (1-2 year olds)
Toddlers are so new to life and for that reason we realize how very special they are. Placing your toddler in the care of others, even for a short time, is a difficult decision to make and mixed feelings are normal and a natural part of the bonding between a parent and child. We will help young toddlers become confident walkers, using toys, equipment and lots of love and encouragement. We teach early language skills and letters through the introduction of our Zoo-Phonics® program. Early math skills are covered as we introduce colors, shapes and numbers. We develop your toddlers interest in reading and music. Your child will begin to sort and classify items and sharpen his/her visual perception, arts and crafts are also introduced with great masterpieces being brought home to you by your little artist.
Preschool (3 year olds)
Our preschool program is designed to foster the growing independence of our three year olds. We begin to focus on social and self help skills through various activities. Lesson plans focus on strengthening their language skills, letter recognition and comprehension, with our Zoo-Phonics® program. Math skills are sharpened as children begin to recognize patterns and numbers children also have fun discovering the world of science and art through fun, hands on activities.
Prekindergarten (4 year olds)
In Pre-Kindergarten, children begin to learn more independence through activities focusing on social and self help skills. Curriculum focuses on math, literacy, vocabulary and science. All areas are further developed with hands-on activities as well as in centers set up in the classroom.
Kindergarten (5 year olds)
Through our program, children develop critical cognitive skills, such as conversation, classification, cause and effect, sequencing and logical thinking. Our academically rich curriculum is both age appropriate and flexible enough to accommodate individual differences in needs, abilities and interests.
We include activities that encourage the growth of the whole child.
In addition our curriculum focuses on the whole range of literacy and vocabulary skills, letters and their sounds are reinforced and children will begin printing their upper and lower case letters. Learning to read, spell and write should be painless and stress-free. Children should be excited and ready to learn new things. Our Zoo-Phonics® is a fun way to learn!
Math skills such as number shape recognition, recognizing and continuing patterns are strengthened, and skills such as telling time, and simple addition and subtraction are developed.
The world of science is discovered through fun hands on activities and centers. The goal of this curriculum is to ensure that all children leave our program with the social and cognitive skills essential for success throughout their primary school years.

We can help, no matter the age
"We care for children ages six weeks through six years old. We focus on constant interactions between children and teachers. Our program stresses the learning through play philosophy because we believe children learn best with hands-on activities and experience."
